Science Snapshot report 2025

We monitor air quality at multiple sites across the region to help identify issues, track long-term trends, and ensure compliance with national standards and regional rules. 

This short report uses standards and guidelines against which to compare individual contaminant levels, and these are typically human health related. Data records are continuing to grow throughout the Region. This is important for public health reasons but is also a critical measure to determine if management and actions are making a difference.
