The 2026 NERMN Groundwater Monitoring Report presents the latest findings from the Bay of Plenty Regional Council’s long-term groundwater monitoring programme.

This report focuses specifically on the state and trends of the groundwater systems and is a follow up to the NERMN Groundwater Monitoring Report 2013 (Barber et al., 2013).  It summarises groundwater quality, levels, and trends across the region, helping to track environmental change and inform sustainable water management.
